CJSO Activities
The Canada-Japan Society of Ottawa sponsors a wide range of activities each year. These activities are varied to ensure there's something of interest for everyone. Some of the events are:

Food Festival
Each year our members and the public are invited to partake of an excellent Japanese meal. This increasingly popular gala event usually includes a guest speaker, a musical performance, and some interesting door prizes.

Boat Cruise
In early September we usually combine a cruise on the Ottawa River with a Japanese "obento" dinner.

Happy Hour
On the third Wednesday of every month, members meet after work for refreshments and good conversation. The location moves among the city's Japanese restaurants.

Lectures
The Society organizes lectures where knowledgeable speakers discuss a variety of Canada-Japan topics.

In addition, the Society organizes irregular events such as leaf viewing in the autumn, a Christmas Party or a film series.
